Bookmarks With Quotations

Hello folks, welcome to this week's post. I am going to post about quotes and bookmarks, from one reading and one listening. Let’s get started

Top Tier Providence, Secretly Cultivate for a Thousand Years

Top Tier Providence, Secretly Cultivate for a Thousand Years is the title of the book. Written by Let me laugh. (Source: https://wuxiaworld.site/novel/top-tier-providence-secretly-cultivate-for-a-thousand-years/)

Anyway, the story is about Han Jue, a transmigrator with a cheat that can change his luck, talent for his entire life only once though. Even after Han Jie get powerful talent and luck, he is still wary and still becomes cautious as this world is dangerous. Han Jie decided to become powerful silently by cultivating for a thousand years.

Here is my bookmark (quote can be found on chapter 23)

The quote in the bookmark are words carved by  Han Jie in front of his abode, He did that to remind himself to keep enduring the cultivation as cultivation is quite boring. I chose this quote because it reminded me to stay focus on my goals to endure the pain for the bigger picture.

Now is the second one with the listening part

The Lord of the Rings: Two Tower

The Lord of the Rings: Two Tower is the title. Written by J. R. R. Tolkien. (Source: https://www.actvid.com/watch-movie/watch-the-lord-of-the-rings-the-two-towers-full-19670.1615639)

Anyway, the story is the continuation of the plot of The Fellowship of the Ring. Frodo and Sam continue their journey towards Mordor to destroy the One Ring meeting and are joined by Gollum. Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli come to the war-torn nation of Rohan and are reunited with the resurrected Gandalf. Merry and Pippin escape capture, meet the Treebeard the Ent and help to plan an attack on Isengard, the fortress of Saruman.

Here is the bookmark

The quote was spoken from Gollum the previous owner of One Ring. Gollum said that the ring is his precious, as he who was previously a hobbit become like that because he was the previous owner of the ring at the cost of his increased lifespan. I chose the quote because it reminded me to not be overly obsessed with something that I lost my goal.

Anyway, that was all for this week's post. Sorry if there are mistakes. Have a nice day.
