Let Me Write a Poem About You

Hey there. We meet again after so long.

Today's post is about an acrostic poem for the character from some story. Don’t worry I am sure you will recognize at least one of them since there are only two in this post. Anyway let’s begin

1.       Fenrir’s Chain

By Chris Rose, with 1556 words. I pick it because I like wolf.

*

The story takes place in Greek Mythology. With Fenrir as the main character in the story. Fenrir is one of the three children of Loki The Trickster God along with Hel and Jormungand. With Fenrir as a wolf, Hel as a woman, and Jormungand as a snake. In the story, two children of Loki have been banished from Asgard the God's residence except for Fenrir as the Gods think it was cute.

Alright, that is all I am willing to tell you, as for the rest of the story you will have to find out by yourself as I don’t want to spoiler you. Anyway here is the source (https://english-e-reader.net/onlinereader/fenrirs-chain-chris-rose)

Here is the poem for Fenrir, by the way, make sure you read the story first before reading it because of spoilers you know.

The poem is in all Noun

F              Ferocity

E              Ego

N             Nurtured

R             Rage

I               Immaturity

R             Rein

And here is the reason why. Ferocity because it was a ferocious wolf. Ego because it is believed to be the strongest wolf. Nurtured because It was raised by the Gods in Asgard although It was not tamed or weakened the ferocity. Rage because Fenrir gets angry from hunger. Immaturity because it did not know how to hold back, after all, if it can hold back its strength perhaps it can escape from Asgard. Rein because at the end Fenrir is chained.

2.       Robin Hood

Published by English Fairy Tales, around 12:55 minute. I pick him because he is the first person come to my mind when thinking about the hero.

About a hero who helps the poor by stealing from the rich. The previous king went missing on a voyage and the younger sibling take the throne and raised taxes bringing suffering to the people in the kingdom. Followed by such change a Hero appears to help the poor. Here is the story.

Here is the poem and its all in Adjective

R             Rebellious

O             Opportunist

B             Brave

I               Intelligent

N             Noble

Here is the explanation. Rebellious of the oppressive Kingdom. Opportunists look for opportunities to help the poor. Brave enough to fight the Kingdom. Intelligent because managed to not be captured until some point. Noble heart to help the poor.

Alright that is all the poems I had

Bye, see you soon
